WHEN & WHERE TO VOTE
If you are a new voter (i.e. just received your citizenship or turned 18, or if you recently changed your address, make sure to register online to save yourself some time when heading to the polls.
Please note that there are 4 different ways to vote; each will be limited to certain time(s) and location(s).

YOU ARE AWAY FROM HOME ON ELECTION DAY
Any day up to Oct 15 @ 6:00 PM, you can request your ballot online or from your Canadian Consulate, fill it & mail it back to Elections Canada to arrive before

If you are Canadian citizen but work, study or live abroad during election time, you can vote by mail. You will need to order your ballot online, fill and return it by mail.

YOU NEED TO VOTE NOW AND CAN VOTE IN PERSON
Any day starting today and up to Oct 10, 2019
If you will be going away, busy at work, or have a health issue that will prohibit you from voting on the official voting days, you can drop in and vote in person at
